Scrap Our Stash Sketch with Stash Challenge #7

Hey everyone. Here's my take on Scrap Our Stash's latest sketch with stash challenge. The stash part of the challenge was that 75% of the product used had to be from your oldest stash of paper and embellishments.  I dug deep and found 2 lines of Fancy Pants paper and a coordinating die cut sheet from 2007. I also had a sheet of Basic Grey paper from 2010 that matched. The buttons are from a bottle that has been around for years. Below is the sketch.

The little red heart was hand cut from coorugated cardboard. I then brushed on some Fired Brick distress crackle paint. Once dry I inked it with a bit of Vintage Photo distress ink.

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

Creative Scrappers/ Scrap Our Stash/ 123 Get Scrappy Challenges

Hey everyone. Hope you have been enjoying the summer.  For this layout I have used 3 challenges that I have been following. The photo is a selfie my daughter took. She got up one morning, looked in the mirror and screamed!!! Quite the case of bed head!! The pattern papers used were from American Crafts, Heidi Swapp and Amy Tangerine. The insta frames were from Simple Stories. The ink, stain and spray, from Ranger. The cute little flair button was from A Flair For Buttons. All the products came from the Crop and Create Delivered Summer 2014 kit. The sketch is from Creative Scrappers.

Challenge #17 from Scrap Our Stash was to use a selfie photo and premade frames. For the challenge from 123 Get Scrappy, I used stars, pen or pencil and crumpled paper. I used a pen to journal and I crumpled the stars and flags.

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.
